Mohsen Hashtrudi

Professor Mohsen Hashtrudi, contemporary Iranian mathematician (1907 – 1987), Tabriz. In 1924, was accepted at medical college but after one year quit it and studied mathematics. In 1937, went to France and received PhD in mathematics from Sorbonne University. He had a high position among the Iranian mathematicians. Hashtrudi had also perfect acquaintance with literature and the other fields of human sciences (especially philosophy).

1- Collection of poems,called “Sayeha” (The shades) in 1954
2- The science and art (1961)
3- A scientific treatise on “the rough adhesion” (in French, 1947)
4- A treatise on “Nationality” (1944)
