Gilani Isfahani

Mullah Hamzeh Gilani Isfahani, leading Persian philosopher and religious scholar was a significant student of Mullah Muhammad Sadeq Ardestani Isfahani. Little is known about his life. He was known as “The Greatest Philosopher” by Sheikh Abdul Nabi Qazvini.

Works:
1) Al-Hekmat al-Sadeqiya (Sadeqiya Philosophy), his fellow student, Mullah Muhammad Sadeq Khalkhali wrote a gloss on this book.
2) Explanation for Jowhar (Essence) and Araz (Form)
3) Treatise on the Soul
