Yuhanna Ibn Haylan
Yuhanna Ibn Haylan was a Christian philosopher. By the year 820 went to Baghdad. At that time Abu Nasr Farabi- celebrated Muslim philosopher- studied philosophy in his presence. Yuhanna belonged to a philosophical Alexandrian school which after the Islamic conquests spread out over Antioch, Harran and Marv.
