Tha’labiya

Tha’labiya was another lodging of Imam Hossein’s caravan, between Mecca and Kufa. It was near “Zarvad” –another lodging-. ha’laba was the name of a man who was from Bani Asad tribe, he lived in this area. In Tha’labiya, Imam heard that his two faithful messengers in Kufa: Muslim Ibn Aqil and Haani Ibn Urwa were martyred, Imam and his companions cried. The companions said: “we will take our revenge on enemies”. The caravan stayed for one night in this place. In the morning a Kufi man, Abu Hura Azudi met Imam and told him: “O the son of the Prophet! What happened to you that you left Mecca?” Ima said: “what are tou saing? Umayyads took my possessions and insulted my family, I tolerated, now they are going to kill me. I swear to God, I will be killed by this cruel group (Umayyads),but they will be abject by God.
