Abu Is’haq Ibrahim Qawiri, philosopher and commentator. Qawiri and Abul Abbas Sarakhsi studied logic in the presence of Kindi (Arab scholar and philosopher; Ca. 801 – 866). According to Ibn Nadim (Arab historian; 936 – 995), Qawiri was the master of Abul Beshr Matta (Nestorian Christian who translated Aristotle and commented upon him; d. 940)
