The ranks of Heaven

According to the koranic verses there will be different ranks created based on God is servant’s deeds. People all are not the same in receiving divine rewards, some are more superior:

1- Watch how we have permitted some of them to get ahead of others. The Hereafter will be greater in [conferring] ranks and even greater in attainment. (17:21)

2- Lofty in rank, possessor of the Throne (40:15)

3-God will raise those of you who believe, in rank as well as the ones who are given knowledge.(58:11)

4-He is the One who has placed you as overlords on earth and raised some on you higher than others in rank.(6:165)

The prophets also will be different in ranks granted them in paradise:

We have preferred some of these messengers over others. Some of them God spoke to, while others he raised in rank. (2:253)

The following verses indicate the characteristics leading to different ranks in paradise:

1- Believers are merely those whose hearts feel wary whenever God is mentioned and whose faith increases when His verses are recited to them. On their Lord do they rely. (8:2)

Those who keep up prayer and spend some of whatever we have provided them with. (8:3) are truly believers. They hold rank before their   Lord, as well as forgiveness and generous provision.(8:4)

2-While thos who against our signs in order to frustrate them, will become the inmates of Hades. (22:51)

3-Is someone who follows after Gods approval like someone else who incurs wrath from God? His refuge will be Hell, and how awful is such a goal! There are ranks with God, God is observant of whatever they are doing.(3:162-163)
