Zobaleh

Zobaleh is the name of another lodging of Imam Hossein’s caravan, between Mecca and Kufa. Zobaleh means the area which is full of water. It was a developed village where Bani Asad tribe resided. In this place Imam heard that his messenger “Qeys Ibn Musahhar Seydawi” was martyred. Then Imam said: “ If anyone of you wants to come back, is free, there is no obligation. Then most of the people returned and just the companions who were in company with Imam from Medina stayed with him and few people who had joined Imam in the middle of way.
