Ma roof Karkhi
Abu Mahfooz Ma'roof, son of Firooz / Firoozan, from Khorasan –Iran and was born in Karkh –Iraq.
He was one of the most famous Sufi scholars in the 8 th century.
Ma'roof Karkhi was a virtuous man and people had the greatest respect for him.
He died in 815 and was buried in Karkh –Iraq.
