Ismail Ibn Hammad Johari Farabi, from Utrar (Farab), was a lexicographer, theologian and literary man. He was expert at literature and jurisprudence and also had a very nice handwriting. Johari was a travel –goer, he went to Iraq, Egypt, Hejaz and some other places, in order to learn more. He was one of the most intelligent people in his own time. Johari fell of the roof as a result of madness and died in 996.
