Khatib Dameshqi
Muhammad Ibn Abd al –Rahman, known as "Khatib Dameshqi", great Iranian scholar and supreme judge, was born in 1267. He travelled to Damascus and studied jurisprudence, rhetoric and Arabic literature and became one of the famous lecturer in Damascus. Khatib helped poor people, therefore people had a high respect for him. He died in 1338 in Damascus.
