Sheikh Abdul Rahman Awwal
Sheikh Abdul Rahman Awwal, celebrated religionologist. Studied the religious sciences under his brother “Sheikh Abdul Qader”, then continued his studies in Mecca and became a prominent scholar. He built a school in “Kukhord” and taught thr religious sciences to children. After the death of his brother Sheikh Abdul Qader, he was the religious guide. Sheikh Abdul Rahman died in 1780.
