Kamal al-Din Yunus Museli was a great Iraqi philosopher. There is little information about his life. He was profoundly expert at inflexion and syntax, jurisprudence, Hadith, commentary, medicine, history, geometry music, philosophy and astronomy. He taught philosophical sciences in Mosul (city in Iraq). Kamal al-Din was known as “Leader of Scholars” and “Master of Philosophers” by Ibn Abi Usaybi’a (physician and bibliographer of Damascus; 1194-1270). He died in 1242.
