Asem Ibn Abi al-Najwad Kufi

Asem Ibn Abi al-Najwad Kufi, from Kufa – Iraq, one of the seven Shia readers / reciters of the Quran. He read the Quran to one of the companions of Imam Ali (p.b.u.h) “Abi Abdul Rahman Abdullah Ibn Habib Salami”. It is said that, he had the most eloquent reading (theh Quran). It is written in the book “Rawzat al-Jenan” (Gardens of paradise): Asem was the most virtuous and eloquent reader of the Quran. “Hafez” and “Abu Bakr Ayash” were his narrators (they narrated his reading).
