Abu Abdul Rahman Sulayman, son of Yasar; was a released slave of “Meymouneh” (one of the Holy Prophet’s wife) and of the followers (a group of Muslims who had not seen the Prophet and followed the actions which were done by his companions who had seen the Prophet before). He was also one of the “Seven Jurisconsults” of Medina (the Seven Jurisconsults was the name of a group in Medina who taught Muslims jurisprudenc and Hadith. At that time Sulayman Ibn Yasar was the most learned and reliable person. He quoted many Prophetic Hadiths. He died at the age of 73.
