The prominent book “The end of philosophy” (Nahayat al- Hekmat) is a philosophical work written in Arabic by the outstanding philosopher “Allameh Tabatabaee.”

“The end of philosophy” is a continuation of another work of the author, “The beginning of philosophy ( Bedayat  al- Hekmat) in which  the  primary philosophical issues  are  mentioned and  it is considered  as textbook . Most of the philosophical discussions presented in “ Thr end of  philosophy” are  a continuation of those in the previous work “The beginning  of philosophy” , which  are analyzed  in detail. As result the subjects are difficult to be understood, but they are more explicable than those presented in “The beginning of philosophy”

Now “the end of philosophy” is also considered as a philosophical textbook.  The book is composed based on reason and logic, in the whole of the book a logical arrangement is observed.

The author never concerns natural sciences in his work, but he deals only with philosophy.
