Praying o God in the Koran

Praying to God as an important religious subject is mentioned in many of the koranic verses, the following are some of the noble verses indicating how Merciful is God about our appeal:

1. Whenever My servants ask you about Me, [it means] I am Near. I answer the appeal of the prayerful one whenever he appeals to Me. Let them respond to Me, and believe in Me so they may be directed!.(2:186)
2. Who answers the distressed man when he appeals to him, and removes evil, and makes you overlord on earth? Is there any deity alongside God? How seldom do you reflect [on this]? (27:62)
3. You who believe, respond to God and the Messenger he invites you to something that will make you live. Know that God slips in between a man and his heart, and to him you will (all) be summoned.(8:24)
4. Say: “My Lord will never care about you unless you appeal to him. Yet since you have rejected [him], something else will be necessary.(25:77)
