Abu Faraas Hamdani
English 1547 Views |Haares Ibn Sai'd, born in 931, was an Arabic shi'ite poet. About his character, it is said that, he was so generous, brave and gallant. Abu Faraas, during his life was imprisoned twice; he wrote some of his poems in prison about his agonies. The contents of his poems are mostly about: love, epic, youth and family relationships. He also wrote poems about Imams (Shi'a Imams), although they are few, had a great effect on Islam. Abu Faraas passed away in 967.
