Mirza Ali Akbar Hakami Yazdi

Mirza Ali Akbar Hakami Yazdi Qomi was a great philosopher of Iran. He studied in the presence of celebrated philosophers: Muhammad Reza Hakim Qomsheiee, Mirza Abul Hasan Jelweh and Mirza Hossein Sabzewari. Mirza Ali Akbar studied mathematics under Mirza Abul Hasan Jelweh. It seems he was more expert at mathematics than other sciences. The following scholars were trained in his presence in Qom:
1- Ayatollah Muhammad Taqi Khansari
2- Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khansari
3- Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini

Mirza Ali Akbar died in 1927.
