فارسی English 1788 Views |This book is a treatise, written in Persian by the celebrated Scholar “Fakhr Razi” on logic and astronomy intending knowing God Almighty.
The author
Abu Abdullah Muhammad Ibn Umar Ibn Hossein Tabaristani Razi, also known as "Imam Fakhr", Ibn al –Khatib" ,"Fakhr Razi" and also "Imam al- Mushakkekin" (because he doubted about most of the philosophical subjects), a famous Iranian Sunni theologian and philosopher. He was born in 1149 in Ray –Iran and died in 1209.
He studied jurisprudence and Kalam and other Islamic sciences under his father and then studied under Majduddin Jili.
He wrote on medicine, astrology, physics, literature, history and law.
Fakhr Razi was from "Shafi'i" of Islamic law.
Razi's most major work is "The keys to the unknown" (his exegesis on the Quran) and his most important philosophical work is "Eastern discussions".

The book structure
This treatise includes 10 articles which each includes some chapters:
1- On login (including 10 chapters): Isagoge, Definitions, Propositions, Contradiction, Converse, Syllogism, Reasoning, etc.
2- On categories (10 chapters): the principles of existence, Division of existence, the annexes of categories, Relative categories, etc.
3- On knowing God (20 chapters): knowing necessary , possible and abstaining, proving the Necessary Being , God Almigh is the Absolute Truth, Creation of universe , etc.
4- On the attributes of the Necessary Being (10 chapters): God Almighty is Aware of His Essence, God Almighty is Aware of generalities (in the universe), God Almighty is capable, The Attributes of God Almighty, etc.
5- On the deeds of God Almighty (3 chapters):
6- On the motions and objects (10 chapters): The first matter, on time, the nature of time, etc.
7- On heaven (10 chapters): Celestial soul, the heaven is neither warm nor cold; the heaven is extensive, etc.
8- On elements (10 chapters): the order of elements, on temperament, etc.
9- On soul (10 chapters): The cause of sleeping, creation of the
talking soul, animal Soul, etc.
10- On astronomy (6 chapters): the order of heavens, the number of the heavens, astronomy of the earth, etc.
