Eventually they were suppressed by Fazl Ibn Rabi’ and he himself became the vizier of Harun. After the death of Harun al-Rashid, Fazl remained the vizier of Amin (son of Harun). He had no relationship with Ma’mun ( the Abbasid caliph and brother of Amin), actually he was afraid of his caliphate and#### stimulated Amin to dethrone Ma’mun from the throne. Therefore Ma’mun sent his army to Baghdad, the commander of Amin was killed. As a result Amin’s rule became weakened and Ma’mun led a powerful government.
